In Memoriam

Honouring the Lives and Service of Former International Civil Servants

This In Memoriam space is dedicated to the memory of colleagues who served the United Nations with distinction and devotion. Here, we honour their lives, their contributions to the ideals of the UN, and the communities they touched in New York and around the world. We invite AFICS/NY members, family, and friends to visit this page as a quiet place of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.

About This In Memoriam Space

AFICS/NY has created this In Memoriam space to recognise and celebrate the lives of former international civil servants who have passed away. It reflects our enduring commitment to the values of solidarity, dignity, and mutual support that define our community of retired staff.

The tributes you will find here may include personal reflections, biographical notes, and recollections of service. They are shared to preserve the memory of our colleagues and to acknowledge their contributions to peace, development, human rights, and humanitarian action.

If you would like to propose a tribute or share a remembrance for a colleague, please contact the AFICS/NY office. Submissions are reviewed with care to ensure that this space remains respectful, accurate, and supportive to families and friends.
